Амарантовый снегирь, an amaranthin bullfinch

Увидела задание с очень красивой палитрой "Цвета декабря" в польском блоге art-piaskownica и немедленно решила, что хочу чего-то сделать по этой палитре, уж очень она гармоничная. Зимний белый, ледяной серый, сдержанный зеленый и яркий, бьющий по глазам амарантовый - не винно-красный, не розовый, а именно амарантовый.

When I had seen the "Kolory Grudnia" palette task in the art-piaskownica blog, I immediately decided what I would like to create something dinger inspiring this color palette. It's so amazing! Winter White, Frosted Grey, Decked Green and mind-blowing Amaranthin are meeting the eyes and inspiring for the creation of something winterly special.

 

Ну и сложилась у меня небольшая зимняя открыточка просто так - даже без надписи, с птичкой зимнего леса - снегирем. Интересно?

I have created a small winter-decked card, with a bright bullfinch. Would you like to drop in?

Фон - перламутровый белый итальянский кардсток с серо-серебристым отливом. Дальше - слоями - бумажка TG Craft, бумажка от неопознанного производителя со снежинками, фоновый нож Sizzix Card Front Die, вырубка на акварельной бумаге. Шитье, нетканые салфетки, вырубка Spellbinders Snowflakes на кальке. Снегирь и еловая ветка вырезаны из листа Scrapberry's Christmas Carol. Украшена шишками, сахарными ягодками. Цвет яблони - самый крупный цветок - побрызган спреем от Фабрики Декору "Зимняя вишня". Фух, вроде все по компонентам!

The main background is made from glimmering silver white Italian cardstock, then I have layered a TG Craft grey music sheet paper, a paper with winter snowflakes, an aquarelle paper die-cut made by Sizzix Card Front Die. Also I used a vellum white die-cut made with the help of Spellbinders Snowflakes Die Set, some eyelet lace, and even - don't laugh at me! - some wet towel wipes for a white demi-transparent layer.
The bullfinch and the fir-branch are cutted down with my cutting knife from a Christmas Carol paper sheet by Scrapberry's. The whole card is decorated with small fir-cones and shimmering sugar berries. The largest mulberry apple blossom flower is sprayed with a pearlescent "Winter Cherry" color shade ink. It seems I haven't missed anything, have I? :)))

Очень мне нравится, как этот спрей окрашивает невзрачные цветы. Он из линейки жемчужных и придает цветам волшебное сияние. То, что надо для ярких зимних акцентов!

Mostly I like this pearl spray surfaces the primer blending together to form new and new colors. This one, the Winter Cherry, is from the pearlescent lineup, adding some wonderful shining to the plain poor Thai flower. Quite the thing I need to add to my winter accents and highlights!

Снегиря и веточку вырезала макетным ножом. Пришлось повозиться, конечно - но оно того стоило! Смотрите как натурально выглядит ветка!
И небольшая капелька глосси-акцента на глазик птичке) чтобы живее подмигивала!
The bullfinch and the fir-branch are cutted down with my cutting knife from a Christmas Carol paper sheet by Scrapberry's. It took a bit of fancy handwork to create the most naturally-looked effect. Along with this, I have added some glossy accent on the bird's eye to create a winking hint.

Вот здесь объем виден - открыточка вышла ну очень объемная, все слои посажены на 2-мм переплетный картон.
Такое очень холодное, очень зимнее январское утро получилось - под стать тому, что у нас бр-р-р как холодно, везде заметы и сугробы. Сидим дома, греемся кофейком и скрапим - отличное начало дня!
I hope you note the whole dimensions, as all the layers are glued with the help of dimensional 2-mm bookboard sheets.
So check out this coldish, winter January morning, just like the weather we have today, absolutely cold, with hips of snow and icy roads. I am at home now, drinking my Hot Toddy :)) coffee and go scrapping - not a bad day at all!
